You step out of Marrakech's dry heat into a different light: mountain air carrying dust and pine, a ribbon of road climbing away from the city toward river-cut gorges and terraces. The driver eases the van through switchbacks and the High Atlas opens—sharp ridgelines, fruit orchards, and adobe villages clinging to the slopes.

The excursion is about 8 hours total; typical pickup is 08:30–09:00 with return to Marrakech around 16:00–17:00.
