You step out of Marrakech into a changing light: the road climbs through olive groves and the city’s roar gives way to wind moving across limestone ridges. By mid-morning the van drops you at Imlil valley around 1,800 m, where walnut fields and stone hamlets open into steep trails and a small waterfall that calls you onward.
