This trip is 21+ only, because we will be taking leisurely stops at a few of Asheville's best breweries along the river! We have kayaks and SUPs available, if you have a preference select it and we will try to reserve it for you. This is an easy paddle, about 4 miles total, great for group parties. We have about 10 guests per guide, so you may make new friends! Know that you will be walking a block or 2 to the breweries once you're off the river. We have a group dry bag to keep any clothes or belongings dry while on kayaks, but dress for outdoor adventure. Some breweries allow samples, however any beer or food purchases along trip are on your own tab. Bring wallet and ID.
Choose footwear that can handle wet conditions since you'll be getting in and out of kayaks or paddleboards.
Stay hydrated by bringing your own water bottle as alcohol can dehydrate you on the river.
Protect your skin without harming the river ecosystem by using eco-friendly sunscreen.
Enjoy the brewery stops responsibly—maintain control while paddling to ensure safety on the water.
