ABOUT

This 2-day course is designed for individuals with limited or no sailing experience. We highly recommend this for the novice sailor. Instruction is broken up between on the water and classroom time.

##TRAINING OBJECTIVES: -Learn to skipper a 26' sloop-rigged keelboat -Learn sailing terminology, parts and functions, -Basic helm commands, sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, knot tying and line handling -Basic navigation rules -Basic Seamanship and safety

##Prerequisite: Willingness to have a good time.##

All of our instructors are US Coast Guard Licensed and ASA Certified.

At SailTime Houston classes are taught aboard the newest and most modern fleet of monohulls and catamarans in the area.

At SailTime Houston we are dedicated to top quality instruction and regularly have classes with no more than 4 students
