Three to four day course designed to train students to proficiently sail on a 30 foot keelboat in light to moderate sea and wind conditions. This class goes over and tests students in the following:
Day 1 and 2 – Practice and lectures
Day 3 and 4 - Additional intsrtuction, written test, skills test, and certification awards
Choose shoes with good grip to stay safe on wet, slippery decking.
Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated during your sailing sessions.
Sun protection is crucial – wear a hat, sunglasses, and waterproof sunscreen.
Active listening during lessons ensures you pick up key sailing techniques safely.
