About

Learn the principles and techniques of sailing, the terms for the different parts of the boat, federal safety regulations, an introduction to navigational aids, and more! We teach on vessels that are equipped with the proper gear and safety equipment. No previous power, sail, or navigation skill is required.

When you complete Basic Keelboat certification, you will have enough practical experience to skipper a sailboat (about 22') in light to moderate winds.
