Embark on a thrilling four-day sailing adventure, mastering the art of skippers on a 25'-35' keelboat. Gain essential skills in sailing terminology, navigation, and seamanship while enjoying hands-on experience in moderate winds. This comprehensive course promises to elevate your sailing expertise and confidence on the water.

About

Learn to skipper a sloop-rigged auxiliary powered 25'-35' keelboat by day in moderate winds and sea conditions. During the ASA 101 you will learn basic sailing terminology, parts and functions, helm commands, basic sail trim, points of sail, buoyage, seamanship and safety including basic navigation rules to avoid collisions and hazards. Extending to the ASA 103 you will further learn cruising sailboat terminology, basic boat systems, auxiliary engine operation, docking procedures, intermediate sail trim, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, weather, and safety.

Duration

4 Days/8 Hours Per Day Overnight stays are not a component of this class. We will return to the marina each night.
