You step out of the vehicle and the air changes — cooler, sharper, threaded with eucalyptus and dust. Mount Meru looms to the west, its scarred flank directing clouds into slow, deliberate shapes while acacia-studded plains open toward the Momella lakes. On this full-day circuit you alternate foot and canoe: a walking safari along forested trails and montane slopes, a game drive across grassy plains, then a quiet paddle where hippos and waterbirds test the water’s edge.
