You will create a set of 4 stunning coasters using resin, dried flowers, leaves, stones, and gold leaf in this unique and creative class. These coasters, crafted with food-safe resin, will not only protect your surfaces but also bring a touch of nature and elegance to your home decor. What's covered in the course:

In this 1.5 hour workshop, you'll be working with a slow curing epoxy resin.

We'll cover:

gloves , aprons, and other PPE included safety and preparation tips:

  • how to measure, mix, color and pour resin
  • how to choose right pigments and blend colors
  • how to choose flowers, fruits and other decorations for your - - coasters.
  • how to work with a heat gun and torch
  • how to prepare your mold
  • how to finish the pieces professionally
  • how to look after your new coaster set

What to bring/wear:

Wear old clothes that you wouldn't mind getting resin on. Glasses, if needed for close up work. Long hair tied back.

*Everything else is provided. *Coasters will be available for next day pick up.

We only use non-toxic epoxy (when used as directed) that is not bad for your health like other resins. No VOCs. No fumes. No solvents. Non-flammable. Non-hazardous. Conforms to ASTM D4236 (Safe for Home Use when used in a well ventilated area).

The workshop lasts for about 1.5hr

  • All materials are provided!
  • You are welcome to bring any special memorabilia, pictures, items you would like to preserve in resin.

Class Requirements This class is not suitable for children under 5 years old or pregnant women.
