Description

Quaint villages, still inhabited, by those who want to carry on the tradition of local customs, in the agricultural and historical field. But also artistically. You will visit the fantastic little village of Deruta.

A small hill town, famous for its medieval predominance and artistic singularity. It is renowned Worldwide for its refined ceramic, maiolica and pottery production. It’s most popular style is the “Bella Donna”: incredibly beautiful paintings of women portrayed on typical ceramic plates, trimmed with colorful, floral patterns.

We highly recommend a walk in the old part of Town, such a rustic charming atmosphere… Then make sure to stop at the “Antica Fornace”, the most Ancient Pottery Kiln, converted to workshop, where you can find millions of art pieces. Take a piece of this incredible land back home with you! Of course, the Umbrian region is also known for wine & olive oil production!

For the perfect ending, your private tour driver will take you to an ancient winery for a private visit! The vineyards in this winery, are so ancient that the record books have them dated back to the year 217 b.C. The winery also hosts centenary olive trees. Take a guided tour of the vineyards and groves, with an off-road golf carts!!
