There, she spent her summers from 1971 to 1980, and Dalí agreed to not visit her without having Gala´s permission. When Gala died in 1982, she got buried at the castle, inside a mausoleum, designed by Dalí. The artist spent two years of his life in the castle after Gala’s death.
