Race across Stockholm’s inner archipelago in a high-speed RIB, then unwind in a secluded wood-fired floating sauna with a swim, barbecue, and cold drinks. This six-hour mix of adrenaline and calm is a sharply local way to experience the region’s granite islands and open sea.
Archipelago Sauna is a Stockholm-based operator offering boat-and-sauna experiences in the Stockholm archipelago. The business runs floating, wood-fired saunas anchored in a secluded archipelago reserve and combines these with boat transfers from the city.
Archipelago Sauna offers three distinct experiences: Rib & Floating Sauna, Taxi boat & Floating Sauna, and Floating Sauna Experience. The Rib & Floating Sauna pairs a high-speed RIB boat ride through the archipelago with time in a secluded floating sauna, followed by opportunities for a swim, barbecue, and drinks. The Taxi boat & Floating Sauna uses a classic taxi boat to deliver a scenic approach to the floating sauna, with the same sauna, swim, barbecue, and drink options; this experience is described as well suited for relaxing, celebrating, or escaping into Scandinavian nature. The Floating Sauna Experience focuses on the wood-fired floating sauna located in the protected reserve, offering guests a natural sea plunge and a restorative sauna session.
All trip summaries, features, and booking details are provided by the operator. Being based in Stockholm, Archipelago Sauna connects city access with natural coastal environments of the Stockholm archipelago. Descriptions emphasize the floating sauna, wood-fired heat source, the archipelago setting, and boat access by either RIB or classic taxi boat. The operator’s listed offerings center on a mix of boating, sauna culture, sea swims, barbecue, and drinks in the archipelago.
