Imagine kayaking in the amazing Arches Territory of Samuel Boardman State Scenic Corridor with the most experienced company and guides on the Oregon Coast. We will hike inflatable kayaks down to a hidden cove to start our paddle in the Arches Territory of southern Oregon. Immediately we are in the most scenic piece of the Oregon coast, paddling through some of the most impressive rock arches anywhere in the world. There are coves that can only be accessed from the water and Spruce covered islands waiting for us to gawk at. There are usually harbor seals fishing the kelp forests and many types of seabirds foraging in the area. Stunning paddling instantly! We will be wearing wetsuits on this tour.
The hike in while carrying your gear can be tough for some people. The trail is steep and there are obstacles like roots and rocks to navigate. Tandem kayaks are more than 30 pounds and single kayaks are more than 25 pounds.
