The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is located in the beautiful Dee Valley, also known as ‘the gateway to North Wales’. This ‘World Heritage’ site is surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife, presenting the wow factor you are looking for.

If you fancy being a little daring, then as we calmly flow across this famous landmark you can take a gaze over the 126ft drop which overlooks the River Dee. But then again you don’t have to.

Situated a short distance from the historic riverside town of Llangollen with its steam trains, castles and ‘Riverside’ park, this activity is the perfect addition to a day discovering the wonders of North Wales.

Don’t worry we will take care of you. While we spend our trip going through some basic canoe skills and strokes, we will also give you our best rendition of the aqueducts factual history and the local knowledge.

This family friendly adventure is a perfect way to spend some quality time together and an experience you will always remember. The beautiful surroundings of the aqueduct and the famous Llangollen canal waterways is one to be ticked off the bucket list.
