Aztec Adventure, located in Bromsgrove, England, offers a distinctive aquatic experience tailored specifically to young adventurers with their Splash Squad Junior Aqua Park. Situated at Upton Warren, a site known for its natural lakes and protected environment, this aqua park is Europe’s first Aquaglide setup designed exclusively for children ages 6 to 8. The park provides a focused space for safe sliding, climbing, and splashing away from the more hectic main aqua park, ensuring a controlled and joyful environment under the supervision of RLSS UK Gold Standard lifeguards.
The setting itself complements the tranquil Worcestershire countryside, with clear, monitored waters forming a natural playground. Upton Warren is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), which adds a layer of environmental care and attention to preserving local wildlife and ecosystems while hosting a lively adventure spot. Kids must have basic swimming skills to navigate the course, which challenges their coordination and confidence while parents enjoy peace of mind thanks to robust safety standards.
Safety is paramount here: every piece of equipment meets stringent EN and BSI standards, and the presence of professional lifeguards ensures secure sessions lasting 45 minutes, including a detailed safety briefing. Parents or guardians accompany younger participants in the water (1 adult per 2 children age 6-7), which fosters an inclusive family experience.
Aztec Adventure’s commitment to offering specialized activities makes it a standout destination within the UK outdoor recreation scene. The facility includes accessible changing rooms, showers, free parking, and lockers, making visits straightforward and convenient. Seasonal programming and group bookings accommodate variable visitor needs, welcoming both locals and travelers seeking an engaging, water-based activity that prioritizes fun and safety for its youngest adventurers.
