Embarking on a journey through a snowy forest on a reindeer-drawn sleigh allows you to connect with the Arctic like never before. Following the ride, unwind by an open fire, sipping a hot drink and immersing yourself in tales of reindeer husbandry. Please note

Our reindeer farm is located a few minutes’ walk from the resort.

Our guides allocate sleigh seats to ensure an even load for the reindeer. Naturally, we aim to seat families and parties together whenever possible.

Each sleigh is steered by a professional for safety reasons.

How do I get to the activity?

If you stay at Apukka Resort:

• Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.

If you need transportation:

• The price of the activity includes transfers to and from Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.
• The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 32, Rovaniemi) and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
• Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
• You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
• Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
• The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
• If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.

If you arrive by car:

• You can park your car in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
• Arrive at least 20 min before the activity starts.
• Pick up your winter gear from the Apukka Adventures dressing room.
• Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
