Tour description

Is your child ready for a new adventure? Meet Apukka’s charming ponies, eager to take young adventurers on a scenic ride around the resort grounds, all under the care of an experienced guide. We have different ponies to accommodate children of various ages. The 10-minute ride is not only fun but also a chance to teach responsibility and respect for nature. Plus, riding is known to improve motor skills, balance, and coordination. So much fun, they’ll want to come back for another ride tomorrow!

Please note:

• We cannot offer refunds on the day if a child changes their mind.
• Pony riding is suitable for children aged 3 to 15 years.
• The weight limit for riders is 60 kg.
• This activity does not include transfers or winter thermal equipment.

How do I get to the activity?

If you stay at Apukka Resort:

• Arrive at the meeting point 10 min. before the start of the activity.

If you arrive by car:

• You can park in Apukka’s parking lot (Tutkijantie 28, Rovaniemi).
• Arrive at least 10 min before the activity starts.
• Wait at the meeting point until the tour begins.
