Looking for fun things to do in Rovaniemi? At Apukka Resort, enjoy various self-guided activities, including canoeing, kayaking, and eFatbiking. Here, you can rent the necessary equipment and take advantage of our shuttle bus transfers, making it easy to reach our resort. The resort is also a favoured culinary destination: enjoy lunch or dinner at our authentic Restaurant Aitta.

There are several cycling routes available. The routes pass through diverse terrain, including boardwalks, trails, and forest roads. The longest route goes to Lake Norvajärvi and is 39 km long. When renting, you will receive a map of the routes. The rental price includes a cycling helmet.

With a canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard, you can take trips on the beautiful Lake Olkkajärvi. You can plan your route or use our pre-planned options from 4 to 9 km. About 2 km from the resort, there is a rest area managed by Apukka where you can stop during your trip, make a fire, and enjoy a picnic.

Our kayaks are designed for recreational use and are suitable for paddlers of all levels. Additionally, we have large canoes suitable for small groups or families. The capacity of the large canoe is a maximum of 8 people (we recommend at least 4 adult-sized paddlers/canoes).

How do I get to the activity?

• The price of the activity includes transfers to and from

Apukka Resort with our shuttle bus.

• The bus stops are located at Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus Village’s bus stop, situated by the main road (Road E75).
• Choose the pick-up point during the booking process.
• You will receive an email with the pick-up details.
• Please be at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the given departure time.
• The transfer won’t wait, so punctuality is essential!
• If you’re late for the transfer, the tour won’t be refunded.
