Join us for 6 miles of non-stop whitewater action on Anthracite Creek. From the time you board the raft deep in the Gunnison National Forest until you land at the headwaters of the North Fork, you will be immersed in continuous class II-III rapids. This fast moving alpine creek flows with a fury born in the heart of the West Elk Wilderness.

Our professional guides will be your hosts on this remote river, providing you with instruction and confidence. If adrenaline is what you are after, Anthracite Creek is for you.

  • Difficulty: Class III
  • Included: Guide, transportation, all equipment, no additional rental fees
  • Meet Times: 9:00 am and 2:00 pm
  • Season: May and June
