You step out of the shuttle as the desert air sharpens — a long river valley to one side, a cut of sandstone carving the light to orange and purple on the other. The day moves at canyon pace: a scenic stop at Glen Canyon Dam, the wide curve of Horseshoe Bend, then the narrow, cool ribs of Canyon X where sunlight slides through fissures and paints the walls.

The tour is approximately 9.5 hours round-trip from Flagstaff and includes Canyon X and Horseshoe Bend stops, Glen Canyon Dam viewpoint, lunch, bottled water, and hotel pick-up within city limits.
Children must be at least 6 years old; Arizona law requires car seats/boosters for children 8 and under and guests must provide them.
Reservations are required; the supplier’s cancellation policy states all sales are final and refunds are not available unless the operator cancels due to weather or insufficient travelers.
Not recommended for travelers with significant spinal, heart, or severe mobility issues; participants should be able to walk for 90-minute durations on uneven ground.
The slot canyons are carved from Navajo Sandstone by flash floods; the surrounding land is part of Navajo Nation with deep cultural ties to the formations and storytellers who guide visits.
Stay on designated paths, avoid touching canyon walls to reduce erosion, and follow Navajo Nation rules; operators limit group sizes to reduce impacts.
