Details and Frequently Asked Questions##

What can I expect? Scouts and adults will explore the Molly Brown House Museum and Victorian Holiday traditions by participating in activities stationed throughout the museum including music, stories and crafts!

Does this event include a patch? Scouts will receive an exclusive Molly Brown House Museum Winter Patch for participating! Activities in this program are designed to also assist scouts in completing some requirements of the "Playing the Past" badge.

Do I have to register and pay in advance? Yes. Our capacity is severely limited due to the small spaces in the museum. This means that many of our programs fill up months in advance, so in order to reserve your space, advance registration and payment is required.

How much does it cost? $18 per scout and $18 per adult. If cost is an issue, please email education@mollybrown.org and we can discuss available options.

If we can’t come, are registrations refundable? We typically do not offer refunds for program registrations. If your plans change and you can no longer make it, as long as you let us know two-weeks or more before the date of the program, we can generally transfer your registration to another program or event, provided there is space. You would still be responsible for any difference in cost, if one exists. If you let us know less than two weeks out, there are no refunds or transfers.

Will my troop and I be able to attend together? Due to the small spaces of the house and the activities, entry times are limited to a maximum of 10 scouts. Participants will be directed through the house to specific stations so everyone who enters at a specific entry time will stay together for the program. If you have a group larger than 10 scouts, we recommend splitting into two entry times.
