The Aurora Guy LLC is a Fairbanks, Alaska–based tour operator specializing in guided Northern Lights experiences. Led by expert guide Maia Hartwigsen, the company offers two primary excursions: a small-group Fairbanks Northern Lights Tour with Photos and a Private Fairbanks Northern Lights Tour with Photos. Both trips focus on maximizing aurora viewing opportunities through local knowledge of weather patterns, light conditions, and optimal locations.
The Aurora Guy LLC emphasizes personalized service and safety. Small groups limit crowding and allow hands-on photography guidance, while private tours deliver one-on-one instruction and tailored itineraries. Photography is included on both tour types; guests receive edited images captured by the guide to preserve memories without the burden of complicated equipment.
Operating from Fairbanks, the company uses real-time aurora forecasts and on-the-ground observations to choose viewing sites. Dress recommendations, pickup logistics, and trip duration are communicated at booking to ensure guests are prepared for Alaska winter conditions.
The Aurora Guy LLC is featured on The Adventure Collective, which lists local adventure providers and highlights trusted operators. That exposure reflects a focus on quality, transparency, and visitor satisfaction. Prospective guests can expect clear booking information, attentive guiding, and photographic documentation of their aurora experience.
