Itinerary

After we meet your guide will start with the plan for our tour.

The rhythm will be slow-paced with lots of stops to soak in the views, take photos, learn how they relate to the history of Porto, and to answer all your questions.

As we make our way to the river we’ll see places like Cristal Palace, Miragaia and Alfândega. Always with stops for explanations and photos.

Let’s follow the road as we make our way towards the beautiful views by the mouth of the river. We’ll pass through the Tram Museum, Massarelos and Arrábida Bridge.

From Foz and St.John’s Fort, we’ll follow the ocean and learn of Portugal’s sea fairing exploits around half the know world.

Time to make our way back, slowly to Gaia, on the other side of the river Douro and make our way to the best views of Porto. Included more amazing photos ;)

Let’s explore the Natural Reserve by the mouth of the river and from there make our inland into Gaia.

Now that we’ve worked an appetite, we’ll have lunch at one of the fishermen’s villages around Porto.

After lunch, of course, what better than a Port?

We’ll explore Gaia and the Port wine cellars with a visit to one of the oldest Cellars to find out more about their history and to taste their famous Ports.

Let’s enjoy a wonderful view of Porto and your private guide will explain all that we did and saw as the city and the tour come together as the best Overview of Porto, while you take your time to enjoy the beautiful views.
