Adventure Tips

Wear Sun Protection

Arizona’s sun is strong, even on cloudy days—bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect your skin and eyes.

Check Weather Before Heading Out

Wind can make paddling more difficult; always check local weather forecasts to ensure calm conditions for your SUP adventure.

Bring Plenty of Water

Staying hydrated is critical, especially in Mesa's dry desert climate during longer paddling sessions.

Use a Leash for Safety

Always secure the board leash to your ankle; it keeps you connected to your SUP in case you fall off.
