Choose from a wide array of paddling opportunities on Fisheating Creek, ranging from one-hour “out-and-back” paddles at the campground to a 16-mile wilderness adventure! We offer canoe, kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals, transportation services to upstream put-in ramps, and private vessel livery.
Florida state law mandates that a child under the age of six (6) must wear a U.S.C.G. approved Type I, II, or III personal flotation device while onboard a vessel under 26 feet in length while the vessel is underway. This includes canoes and kayaks. Bring plenty of water or other drinks in non-disposable containers. Don’t litter – take a trash bag or other receptacle for collecting your trash. Because of alligators, swimming is not recommended in the Creek. If you are starting from Fisheating Creek Campground and heading upstream, note the stream becomes narrower and the current faster the further you go upstream. We offer shuttles to Burnt Bridge and Ingram’s Crossing for a relaxing downstream paddle. It is always a good idea to let someone know where you are paddling and when you expect to return.
Arriving at opening time ensures you have the widest selection of boats and a full day to enjoy the water.
Protect yourself from sun exposure during all-day trips by layering on sunscreen and wearing protective hats.
Monitor local weather forecasts to avoid storms or heavy winds that could impact your boat trip.
Stay refreshed and energized during your day on the water by packing hydrating drinks and light snacks.
