Peter (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Thoroughly enjoyed this walk with the excellent guide Phil. Saw for the first time many things that I have previously just walked past without noticing. Thank you Phil for a very enjoyable and entertaining afternoon."
Kathryn (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "A very interesting walk with places we didn't know existed and stories told by a friendly and informative guide. I will be going back to look at some of the places myself in the future eg the "Actors Church" in Covent Garden. The guide was using a microphone so could be clearly heard. The name of the walk led me to think that it would be quirky facts about politicians and Westminster political buildings but that didn't matter in the end!"
Andy (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "What is wonderful quirky tour of Westminster by Philip, our tour guide. He is friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions asked, to give additional information. I worked in the area covered by this tour for 16 years and still there was lots that I learnt. I highly recommend this walk and talk."
Sally (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "The 90 minute walk was utterly fascinating, a blend of social , industrial and architectural history weaving together the past and present stories of the regenerated area around King’s Cross and St Pancras railway stations. The guide was very knowledgeable and her enthusiasm was infectious. Highly recommended."
Jasmine (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Hazel really brought to life what this area of London was like in times past with great enthusiasm and knowledge. I learnt so much! Despite the unfortunate bad weather on the day I still enjoyed and Hazel was thoughtful to find some places where we could be under cover whilst listening. I would recommend these walks to anyone looking to explore and learn about London."
Robert (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Our guide, Kirstie was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her subject and presented the information well, allowing opportunities for people to ask questions."
Judith (5/5) - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Our guide (Kirsty) was very knowledgeable. She interspersed the information with little stories which kept it all a bit lighter. The walk was well balanced and certainly delivered on showing the transformation of the Kings Cross area. Moderate walking pace with minimal steps. We finished at The Crick Institute. They often have free exhibitions and a nice little cafe area. Worth popping in. Would recommend this walk though I generally think all the walks run by the London Guided Walks are well run and managed."
