Red Fox Games sits just off Red Fox Run in Woodruff, South Carolina, a low-country pine-and-hardwood edge where a cleared airsoft field becomes a tactical arena after dark. At 1 Red Fox Run, players gather for Airsoft X’s Alien: OP, a four-hour night game (6–10 p.m.) that pushes communication, stealth, and team tactics under cover of night. The rule set is straightforward: ages 10 and up, field access with multiple game types administered by Airsoft X, and space for up to 60 players — all pre-booked online to guarantee a slot.
The playing area alternates between dense brush and open lanes, with improvised barricades, shipping-pallet structures, and low berms that break sightlines. In the dark, the field reads differently: pale moonlight skims tree trunks, headlamp cones carve tunnels through mist, and fluorescent markers become strategic beacons. That mixture of semi-natural woodland and human-built cover is what makes this location singular for the Upstate South Carolina scene — it’s not a manicured range but a shifting, lived-in playground that rewards recon and adaptability.
Practicalities matter. Check in at 1 Red Fox Run and bring eye protection, extra batteries, and water; the Friday-night schedule runs the full four hours and moves fast. The operator, Airsoft X, stages a variety of objective-driven scenarios — hostage rescues, VIP escorts, and point-control rounds — so teams of mixed ages and experience levels find meaningful roles. The venue’s 100% refund policy and online booking system make logistics easy for traveling groups or families.
Why book this trip? It’s an entry point to tactical outdoor play without the trappings of paintball fields or commercial amusement. For visitors staying in nearby Spartanburg or in Woodruff, an evening here offers an athletic, social way to experience local outdoors after daylight hours. The site’s combination of topography, man-made features, and nocturnal gameplay creates vivid moments — a moonlit dash across a lane, a silent flank through pines, a flashlight flick that signals friend or foe.
Safety is built into the experience: clear age limits, enforced protective gear, marshaled game control, and a compact field footprint that keeps firefights readable. For photographers, the glow of headlamps and tracer-style BB effects produce dramatic imagery; for teams, the night setting deepens strategy and communication skills. Whether you’re a first-timer aged 10 or a veteran team organizing a weekend trip, Alien: OP at Red Fox Games offers a fast, focused taste of tactical night play in the Carolina woods. Reserve your slot online through the Airsoft X booking page, then check in at 1 Red Fox Run, Woodruff, SC 29388; the operator’s clear rules, 100% refund policy, and on-site marshals make planning simple so groups can focus on tactics, teamwork, and the rush of a properly run night operation.
