You step off the small cruiser with salt on your lips and horizon stretching west—cliffs tomahawked by wind and waves, gulls inspecting the wake. The outing moves like a slow tide: a morning glide out of Albufeira Marina, a line of limestone arches and grotto mouths appearing as the sun climbs, and a final, relaxed barbecue served on a quiet strip of sand.
