About

Departing from your hotel or accommodations in Toulouse, we'll take the day to visit Albi, Cordés-sur-ciel and Gaillac.

The drive from Toulouse to Albi lasts about an hour. On the way I'll tell you a little bit about the history in this region.

In Albi you will have plenty of time to explore the Sainte Cecile Cathedral, the largest red brick cathedral in the world; as well as the famous and excellent Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. Both of these attractions are spectacular.

After visiting Albi we'll drive to Cordes-sur-Ciel. Cordes is generally considered to be the first of the bastides of Southwest France. The fortified hilltop town has attracted many pilgrims and craftspeople, it is truly lovely.From Cordes we'll drive to Gaillac where you might like to enjoy some excellent local wine.
