Pick-Up & Safety Briefing: You’ll be picked up directly from a downtown dock, so no transportation is needed if you are off a cruise ship. Captains Clayton and Johnny will provide a thorough safety briefing before we embark on our journey.

Commercial Pot Experience: Watch as our captains demonstrate the process of retrieving and setting commercial pots. Feeling adventurous? We can arrange for you to obtain a commercial crewmember license if you are a US citizen, allowing you to join in the action!
Catch Display & Bycatch Exploration: After the pots are checked, explore the day's catch and fascinating bycatch. You’ll get up-close with a variety of accidental catches, which are always interesting to observe. Rest assured, all bycatch will be released back into the water.

For our Alaskan Commercial Crabbing Tour, no prior experience is required. You can choose to sit back and watch or actively participate. If you decide to join in on the action, we’ll assist you in obtaining a commercial crewmember's license and show you the ropes. We’ll already have the pots set, so if you prefer, you can simply enjoy the ride.
Juneau is situated in a temperate rainforest, which means weather conditions can be quite variable. Although you might experience sunny weather, it’s possible for it to rain during your trip. Please come prepared with a good rain jacket and waterproof boots to stay comfortable.
