Marc Restaurant’s al fresco dining experience takes full advantage of the balmy Georgia evenings, allowing guests to savor a buffet-style meal beneath open skies while enjoying the buzz of live music that animates the night. The experience centers around a curated menu developed by Winery Chef Justin Kurtz, showcasing the best of seasonal Southern flavors with a refined twist. Each course is thoughtfully prepared: start with a refreshing heirloom tomato and pepper gazpacho, vibrant and served with olive oil and garlic croutons—a cool, flavorful opener. Crisp salads follow, including a classic Caesar featuring romaine hearts and parmigiano reggiano, and a butter lettuce Greek salad enhanced with asparagus, pickled onions, olives, and feta cheese, dressed in a grapefruit vinaigrette that lends bright acidity. The carving station is the centerpiece for meat lovers, presenting grilled ribeye steak with house-made steak sauce and horseradish cream alongside a smoked BBQ-glazed short rib plated with peach BBQ sauce and white cheddar grits—true Southern comfort elevated. Mains alternate between blackened salmon glazed with a lemon vinaigrette and seasonal vegetables, and citrus-brined roasted chicken paired with apricot couscous and a spicy tomato sauce. Accompanying sides like butter-whipped potatoes and a spring vegetable medley round out the feast. Desserts, crafted by Pastry Chef Joebeth Marin, highlight seasonal ingredients in creative forms, perfect for a sweet finish under the stars. Guests can also enjoy a full bar service offering local wines and cocktails, though alcohol is not included in the meal price.
