You climb into a low, raw Funco buggy as the desert wakes—sand humming beneath the chassis and a warm wind pushing sharp grains against your goggles. The two-seater 3000cc has a deliberate rumble; your guide lines up a run and the dune obliges, folding and rolling beneath the wheels like a living road.

The total tour is about four hours, with roughly two hours spent driving across the dunes at the Funco buggy camp.
