Operated by GelBlaster Battlezone · West Raynham, England
Located in West Raynham, England, GelBlaster Battlezone delivers a pulse-pounding airsoft experience set inside a historic former RAF Stations Hospital and Bunker complex. This unique venue takes participants deep into a network of two-floor underground corridors, complete with pitch-black airlocks and a decontamination center, offering a Close Quarter Battle (CQB) playground that few other airsoft sites can match.
The grounds hold WWII-era significance, originally serving military personnel in wartime Britain. Today, they provide a gritty, immersive backdrop that complements high-adrenaline airsoft gameplay using the innovative Gel Blaster system. Unlike traditional paintball, Gel Blasters shoot soft, water-based gellets that burst on impact without the pain or mess. This makes it perfect for mixed groups and events like birthday parties, stag and hen celebrations, or corporate team-building days.
Players gear up with full rental packages, including Tippmann HPA M4 CQB rifles, tactical face masks, gloves, chest rigs, and torches for navigating dark corridors. Guided by ex-military professionals, participants engage in varied game modes—hostage rescue, capture the flag, or infection-style rounds—all designed to test tactics, communication, and reflexes.
The combination of a historically charged location, state-of-the-art equipment, and expertly designed scenarios places GelBlaster Battlezone as a standout activity in Norfolk’s outdoor recreation landscape. It transforms traditional airsoft into a safe, fast-paced tactical challenge, appealing to ages 10 and up, with an emphasis on fun without compromise to safety.
