The tour is not just about the sugar cane farm, it is also about our experiences: our highs, our lows, our family, and our life. It hasn't always been easy, and we highlight the difficulties and struggles we have been through in our beloved pursuit to help provide food to feed the nation. We love running this tour, welcoming you into our home and giving you a personalised tour you will hopefully remember for years to come. All the things to know about growing sugar cane here in the Mackay Region. Includes a walk through our John Deere replica museum. Tours are located on our very own cane farm and includes morning tea.
A key component of our tours is a visit to the old farmhouse, which has been converted into a John Deere Museum – known fondly as The Love Shack. The Love Shack houses an original collection of John Deere memorabilia (hence the farm name Oh Deere).
