Morning light on the Atlantic pushes a blunt glare across Agadir as a compact convoy peels away from the city, heading south into a landscape that shifts from coastal rock to scrubby plain and low dunes. The tour threads past Taghazout’s surf-facing hotels, drops to a quiet cove where fishermen still shelter boats in sea-carved caves at Sidi Rabat, then climbs toward the irrigated basin and reservoir named for the Almoravid leader Yusuf ibn Tashfin.
