About This Adventure

New! Enjoy a beautiful afternoon sail along the downtown Saint Petersburg waterfront

Duration

  • Two Hours

About

  • Set sail aboard Hawkeye, a brand-new 47-foot luxury sailboat made locally by Island Packet Yachts. Your party (up to six passengers) will cruise along Downtown St. Petersburg’s scenic waterfront.
  • Date night? This is a great add-on before a dinner reservation. And this option is even more cost-effective than our private sunset sail.
  • This is a two-hour sail for up to six guests departing from Demens Landing in downtown St. Petersburg with a U.S. Coast Guard-credentialed captain.

Before you arrive

  • ✍️ 48 hours prior to embarkation, you will receive an email from Wherewolf Waivers with a unique link. EACH person in your party must sign the electronic waiver before boarding. If you have trouble with the electronic waiver, we will have paper copies available at the dock.

Getting to the Boat

The boat will pick you up at the Demens Landing Boat Ramp

  • 🚗 If you are driving to us, route to Tampa Bay Sunset Sail in Google Maps and select from the free, non-metered 2- and 3-hour parking spots in the park.
  • Please note that Apple Maps shows an incorrect location for us. We are working to resolve the issue, but in the meantime, please use the Google Maps link (above). If you must use Apple Maps, then route to Demens Landing and then follow the signs for "Boat Ramp" Do not ask Apple Maps to route you to Tampa Bay Sunset Sail
  • Parking can be limited on weekends and during special events. We encourage your party to arrive together and/or use a rideshare service.
  • If using rideshare, request a ride to 500 1st Ave SE, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
  • Here is a map detailing parking, bathrooms and meet point.

Embarkation

Throughout the year, we adjust the tour times to match the changing time of sunset. Please read this confirmation email carefully and plan to arrive about 10 minutes before the tour start time.

  • We kindly ask passengers to use the public restrooms in the park before boarding.
  • We must be good neighbors to the other boaters who use the public dock. To that end, we cannot tie up at the dock until your entire party is present.
  • For shared charters, we are not able to hold the boat for late passengers. If you need more flexibility, please consider booking a private charter.
  • Passengers must be able to navigate three steps up to board the boat.
