About

You've been taken captive by the notorious pirate Benito Bonito (aka… Benito of the Bloody Blade). To claim the hidden treasure, ye must decode the clues, solve puzzles and navigate through treacherous waters of this escape room. Beware, for time is of the essence!

Do I need to book in advance? Absolutely. We are appointment based: often there is nobody here if we do not have a booking. When you book there will be a Game Master assigned to support your session.

EXTRA AVAILABILITY In addition to the games currently available, we will create a bespoke game time to suite you and your team. Email secretary@maritimequeenscliffe.org.au to arrange a time to play that works for you.

Will we have to play with strangers?

No, as soon as you book a room it becomes yours exclusively for your play session.

How long do we have in the room? Is it hard to escape?

You have 60 minutes inside the room to attempt your escape. Doing so will be a challenge, but our Game Masters will be supporting you to ensure you don’t get too stuck! The more your team works together, the better your chance of escape!

Is there an age limit? Are the rooms suitable for families?

Children under 16 years of age are welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.

Children aged 7 years and over are full price.

Children under the age of 7 years can attend with a paying adult, however must be supervised at all times. There is a basket of games and books for those who will not be playing the game.

Will we really be locked inside? No. For health and safety reasons you can exit the game room at any time.

Will it be scary? Are there actors in the rooms? Our escape room is family friendly. No actors, just puzzles and clues and the odd skull and skeleton.

Do I need any prior knowledge? No, the game will provide all the clues you need. In fact, when you escape your shackles and begin your game, GO AND EXPLORE THE ROOM, OPEN DRAWERS AND SEE WHAT'S INSIDE BUT LEAVE THINGS WHERE YOU FIND THEM UNTIL YOU NEED TO USE THEM IN THE GAME.

Is Alcohol allowed? Our Escape Rooms will challenge your brain, so please come sober, and save the drinking for afterwards to celebrate your successful escape! Alcohol/drug affected players will be refused entry and no refund will be given.
