Join the ACA Instructor Rendez-Vous for an exhilarating week in Jalcomulco, where L3 and L4 instructors can elevate their skills to L5. Experience advanced Swiftwater Rescue training, connect with fellow instructors, and enjoy the local culture and cuisine in a vibrant town dedicated to whitewater adventure.
This ACA Instructor Rendez-Vous is designed for L3 and L4 instructors an opportunity to Update/Upgrade their teaching qualification to the L5 Level.
The week is a great opportunity to focus on Advanced Swiftwater Rescue skills under the supervision of a L5 IT (Jim Coffey). It is a great opportunity to explore new learnings, concepts and forge closer connections with other participants.
The week’s program includes Airport transfers (from VER) 5 nights accommodations in Jalcomulco (first and last night accommodation in Veracruz is on your own), breakfasts, Assessment, instruction, coaching, mentorship in country transportation and all group gear such as rafts, canoes, kayaks etc.
Prepared lunches are available at an additional charge ($10) and dinners are “on your own” at a variety of traditional local restaurants.
Bring your personal protective and rescue equipment to engage safely and effectively in hands-on training sessions.
Warm Veracruz weather demands drinking plenty of water during active days on the river and classroom sessions.
Plan to arrive at Veracruz International Airport timely for airport pickup on Day 1 to ensure smooth transfer to Jalcomulco.
