A morning in Addo begins with dust and light — vehicles roll through scrub and fynbos as the air cools and the landscape wakes. Guides scan tracks and termite mounds; distant rumble and the occasional trumpet remind you why people come here. The full-day drive moves across open plains and waterholes, with pauses for tea and a braai lunch cooked over coals.
