About This Adventure

Join BikeTexas for an exclusive bike tour exploring innovative infrastructure like protected lanes and bike-only roundabouts. Accompanied by an expert, you'll discuss transportation funding and planning while enjoying a scenic ride of 10 to 20 miles. This unique opportunity also offers continuing education credits. Dress for the weather and ride with us!

Do protected bike lanes make you happy? How about a bike-only roundabout? Would you like to see a whole neighborhood planned around active transportation? Then this is the tour for you!

BikeTexas has produced infrastructure tours for transportation engineers, planners, municipal staff and elected officials for decades. Our conference mobile workshops are always crowd favorites... but they aren't open to the public. This is your chance to come take a spin around town accompanied by one of our staff infrastructure experts at a time that works for you. Along the way we can talk funding, politics, and PCC vs flexible pavement.

Our ride will cover between 10 and 20 miles, depending on what you want to see. We can optionally stop for a snack, beverage, and discussion. Please come dressed for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. You may bring your own helmet or borrow one of ours.

Continuing education credits available. Please call our office at 512-476-7433 and ask for Lynn or Robin to discuss your specific CEU requirements.

Our listed tour times are dependent on our transportation EIT's schedule and are very conservative. If you don't see a time that works for you, please email, or call 512-476-7433 and ask for Faith or Robin.
