Adventure tips

Dress respectfully for religious sitesWear clothing that covers shoulders and knees; abayas are typically provided for women at the mosque but bring a light cover for comfort.

Bring comfortable shoesMarble floors and museum galleries mean lots of standing and walking—non-slip, cushioned shoes help on polished surfaces.

Hydrate between stopsBottled water is supplied, but carry a refillable bottle and sip regularly, especially in summer when temperatures soar.

Plan for crowds and timingStart early when possible—popular sites get busy mid-morning and late afternoon; the observation deck is best around midday for clear views.

Recommended gear

Lightweight modest clothing / abaya: Covers shoulders and knees for mosque and palace access; breathable fabrics are best in heat.
Comfortable walking shoes: Cushioned, closed-toe shoes handle marble, museum floors, and short street walks.
Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, SPF): The Gulf sun is intense—protect exposed skin during transfers and Corniche stops.
Refillable water bottle: Reusable bottles reduce plastic use and keep you hydrated between supplied bottled water stops.
