Adventure tips

Dress for the mosqueWear clothing that covers shoulders and knees; women will need a headscarf for mosque entry — many tours provide loaner abayas.

Hydrate and carry waterCarry a refillable water bottle; heat and walking can dehydrate you quickly during midday stops.

Protect against sunSunglasses, a hat and sunscreen make photo stops and Corniche walks more comfortable.

Keep time for lunchLunch on Yas Island is typically self-pay; plan 45–60 minutes to eat without rushing.

Recommended gear

Comfortable walking shoes: Good soles and breathability help on mosque floors, promenades, and hotel lobbies.
Light, modest clothing: Loose layers that cover arms and legs meet mosque etiquette and keep you cooler.
Reusable water bottle: Staying hydrated is essential during outdoor photo stops and walking segments.
Portable phone charger: You’ll take many photos; a charger ensures your device lasts the full day.
