About This Adventure

Embark on a unique wine tour in Sedona, exploring intimate boutique vineyards open only on weekends. Taste exclusive wines from Salt Mine Wine and Clear Creek Vineyards, known for their sustainable practices and small-batch production. Enjoy personalized experiences, stunning views, and complimentary digital photos, all while savoring the essence of the Verde Valley.

This new tour offered by Wine Tours of Sedona takes you to some of the area’s smallest, most boutique vineyard locations which are only open Friday through Sunday due to the small batches of wine that they produce.

Our first stop is Salt Mine Wine, established in 2012 with 5 acres of vines. They are producing only 500-600 cases of wine annually, so if you like these wines, you better buy them while you are there or they will be gone. We love their steel aged Malvasia Blanca and their red blends which are aged in neutral oak for 18 months.

Just down the road is Clear Creek Vineyards and Winery, home of the Rio Claro Wines. They were established in 2015, though planted their first grapes in 2000, and 100% of their wines are estate (on site) grown. Of their ten acres, they have about eight acres of vines producing about 15 different wines. For those into sustainable business practices, they are rated a Silver Innovator for their green business practices. Impressively, they age all their wines 3 to 7 years before releasing them to the public. If you want to bring their wines home, they ship their wines to about 34 different states.

Enjoy a selection of wonderful wines, beautiful views, and boutique wine making on this wonderful new tour allowing you to experience the terroir of the Verde Valley Wine Trail.
