Our taster tours are a great way for beginners or young families to access the Sea who are concerned with their water confidence and looking for a fun wet session without a beach stop.

These tours can be run with a whole family in the same boat, as long as the children are under 8 and only 3 members wish to paddle at one time. Or they are completed in Tandem or Solo kayaks if children are over 14. We cannot confirm wildlife within this tour as we can in the half day, but that is not to say that we will not meet any swimming seals or cetaceans!

Highlights

All of our tours are delivered by expert guides, and these professionals give you all the skills you need to maneuver your craft through the water. Our guides have an in-depth knowledge of all paddle sports. From boat design to the environment it's used in. Feel free to use this time to get everything you need to know about your sport, as they are eager to share it with you! They assist with launching and landing and assist you to safely access remote areas you may not have found alone and to turn around in tight spaces.

We allow around 20 minutes for our introductory briefing and paddle demo and becoming comfortable and familiar in your chosen boat. 60 minutes for a tour around Babbacombe Bay and 10 minutes to pack down at the end.

We cater for children from the age of 4, providing they can fit a safety Buoyancy Aid or bring their own and all under 14's paddle tandem with an adult. 2, 14-year-old teenagers can share a kayak together if they wish

• Wet suits are not provided but a good idea out of season.

Standard Cancellation Policy

We are very flexible and will contact you prior to your tour should the weather/sea conditions not be suitable to enter the sea caves to find an alternative opportunity.

Cancellations are very rare in the summer due to the predominant wind being off shore. Our standard policy for you to cancel is 24 hours prior to departure. After this time a voucher will be provided if conditions are suitable.

Flexible Cancellation Policy

We also offer a last minute cancellation policy for a surcharge so that you are in control of your booking right up to 2 hours before departure.
