Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the Overnight. Our Souvenir Shop is open and available at that time for you to visit while waiting for your tour to start.
Overnights begin with a brief Safety Notice, then morph into a paranormal investigation. You are welcome to bring your own investigative equipment, we will also have equipment available to check out for use during the investigation, we will request to hold an ID while you are using our equipment.
- Remember to dress weather appropriately, as there is no heat or air conditioning at the facility. We do not allow Food or Drink on the property. We sell bottled water in our Souvenir Shop.
- We do allow you to take photographs while on the tour - Videotaping is only allowed on Hunts and Overnights.
- Parking is provided on-street (at no charge) on Lafayette Street or State Street.
- Everyone participating in a tour at Missouri State Penitentiary must sign a Waiver and Release of Liability. No one under age 18 permitted.
- An Electronic Waiver will be sent to you for signatures by all parties in your group.
