Halibut charters can take up to an hour or two of your time traveling to and from the Halibut Fishing spots. Halibut really start to show up in numbers around the middle June, and stay around our area until September and some years into October.
That all being said it is fishing and we do not control when the show up and when they leave.

Halibut regulations: Each angler can retain 1 fish that falls in the retention limit less than 37 inches or less or over 80 inches.

We typically, will target the Hailbut first. However it is your trip and will will ultimatly target which ever species you prefer. We do recommend getting into Hailbut first then move on.
