Ride in our 2023 Canam Defender. This 6 seater model is great for families looking for a scenic, comfortable adventure you won’t forget!

WARNING! Defender weight limit is 600 Pounds...This machine is meant for families, not meant for 6 adults, severe braking issues have been noted when vehicle is overloaded.

Rules

  • This rental drops off at Camp Bird Trailhead.
  • You must be 25 years old+ and with a valid driver's license to sign rental agreement and liability waiver. You must be 21 years old + and with a valid driver’s license to drive rental.
  • We do not allow switching of riders. If you have a 4 seater, only the 4 people that sign waivers are allowed in the machine for the time of your rental.
  • Pets are not encouraged due to risk of injury and damage to rental. You assume all responsibility. If you would like to board your pet, Ouray Dog Company is great to work with!
  • No smoking, drugs, or alcohol allowed in rental.
  • You are required to complete and sign the rental agreement and liability waiver as well as bring a credit card and upload the drivers licenses of any persons wanting to drive rental prior to the reservation. This must be done the day of your reservation.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel that safety may come into question.
  • We encourage that you ask questions about the operation of the vehicle because you assume all responsibility for proper and safe operation of the rental and for the safety of yourself, passengers, and others.

Insurance

A $1000 Refundable damage deposit is required per machine at time of rental.

We do not provide or offer any insurance. You are responsible for 100 % of all liability, damage or loss whether or not caused by your negligence. This activity comes with high risks of serious injury or death and you assume all risks associated with this activity. You are responsible for the cost of all damages/loss of vehicle as well as loss of revenue. Damage or replacement costs are determined by manufacturer’s List Price at the time of the incident.

Suggestions/Perks

  • We will provide maps and helmets with your rental! Helmets are optional for ages 18+.
  • Make sure to bring along plenty of water, sunscreen, and layers to be best prepared for your great day. There is a spot in the back of rentals for a cooler.
  • Leave No Trace! Pack it in, Pack it out, Leave nothing behind and Stay on trail!
  • Be careful, take your time, and don’t do anything you aren’t comfortable with and you will have a great time!
