We will pick your group up and we’ll drive along the 27-mile long Park Loop Road up to the summit of Cadillac Mountain, the highest peak on the eastern seaboard.
From Cadillac you can see spectacular views of Bar Harbor, the surrounding islands and the visiting cruise ships.
Visit all of the famous sites, including Sand Beach, Thunder Hole, Otter Cliffs, Precipice Cliffs, Sieur de Monts Springs and gardens.
We can stop and stay as long as you would like at each location. As you wind through the park you will see hand-cut stone bridges, rocky coves and pink granite coastline, glacier cut lakes and dense forests.
We leave the park to visit the communities of Seal and Northeast Harbor. You may stroll through the Asticou Garden and view the outsides of the mansions of the "Summer People".
We will see the oldest community on the island, Somesville and have a chance to take a picture on the famous bridge.
We will then visit the Southwest Harbor side of the island. See a working lobster pound and the boats offloading their lobsters to be sorted and weighed. Option to eat on your own at the lobster pound restaurant.
*Lobster Pounds close Columbus Day weekend. After October 11 another lobster lunch option will be provided. and stop at a Lobster Pound for lunch. (On your own)
Afterwards we continue on to see the western side of Acadia National Park and it's famous Seawall the natural rock formation.
