You arrive in Cairo with the city’s pulse still ringing in your ears, then within hours the urban grid gives way to a horizon of wind-swept sand. By day three the tour has taken you from the stone geometry of the Giza pyramids to the palms and hot springs of Bahariya Oasis; by sunset on day four the White Desert’s chalk formations stand like giant, moon-sculpted mushrooms against the deepening light.
