You step off the ferry in Svolvær and the islands greet you like a weathered map: steep granite ridges plunge into the cold sea, fishing cabins cling to rocky shores, and the harbor wind pushes your hair back as if urging you onward.

The tour is relaxed—daily drives with frequent stops for short walks (10–60 minutes), village visits, and photo breaks; one full-day fjord cruise is included.
The Trollfjord cruise uses sheltered vessels but the sea can be choppy; bring medication if you are sensitive and choose a mid-ship seat when possible.
The Midnight Sun is visible from late May through July; Northern Lights are most likely from late September to March—this itinerary runs year-round but experiences vary by season.
